Getting Started with PDF4me API Key

We assume you already have an account with us and a PDF4me API Key. If you don’t have one, create an account with us for getting an API Key. You can refer to the documentation on getting started with PDF4me for help with the process.

Follow these steps to easily generate a barcode in your workflow:

Step 1 – Log in to your n8n Account

Go to your n8n account and sign in with your credentials.

Step 2 – Search for the PDF4me Node

In the Nodes panel, type “PDF4me” in the search bar to quickly locate the available PDF4me nodes.

Step 3 – Add the PDF4me Node to Your Workflow

Drag and drop the “Create Barcode” PDF4me node into your workflow canvas.

Step 4 – Provide Barcode Details

Fill in the required fields:

• Barcode Type – Choose the barcode format (e.g., Code39, EAN-13, QR Code, etc.).
• Content/Text – Enter the data you want encoded into the barcode.
• Optional Settings – Adjust size, resolution, or orientation if needed.

Step 5 – Set Up PDF4me API Credentials

Go to the Credentials tab in the node settings and:

• Select or create new PDF4me API credentials.
• If creating new, paste your API key obtained from your PDF4me account.

Step 6 – Run and Test Your Workflow

• Click Execute Node or run the full workflow.
• Check the output to confirm that the barcode is generated correctly.
